Dear Miramonte Neighbors,
There's something powerful about a neighborhood where people still wave from across the street, chat on the corner, or keep an eye on your trash bins when you're out of town. I've seen and experienced this here in Miramonte. Have you?
With so much around us feeling divided and disconnected, a strong local community can ground us and enrich our lives in real, tangible ways. The borrowed tools, the shared laughs, and the small acts of neighborliness matter more than they let on.
As your new MNA President, I'd like to invite you to get involved, even just a little, whether you rent or own. Not out of obligation, but because you care about where you live and who lives around you. Knowing your neighbors doesn't just make life more convenient. It makes it more meaningful, and a little safer too.
So come to the MNA Halloween party at the Pocket Park. Stop by one of our meetings at the Ward 6 office. Or just say hi if you see me walking with my family to Yellow Brick Coffee in the morning. At the end of the day, this neighborhood is something we all share, and it gets a little stronger every time we show up for it.
See you on Camino Miramonte,
Marc Salerno President, Miramonte Neighborhood Association
