MNA Is Now a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, and You Can Give Online

The association has been approved as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Gifts now support neighborhood events, beautification, and advocacy, and are tax-deductible.

In November 2025, members met to amend the association's bylaws and articles so that MNA could apply for 501(c)(3) status. The application has since been approved. The Miramonte Neighborhood Association is now a tax-exempt nonprofit, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Why it matters

MNA has always run on volunteers, and on very little money. Recent treasurer's reports show that our regular costs are color printing for the neighborhood newsletter, our post office box, and web hosting. Projects like new plantings in the traffic chicanes have depended on one-time sponsors.

Nonprofit status lets the association accept tax-deductible gifts and apply for grants. It also gives us a firmer footing for events, beautification, and advocacy on behalf of the neighborhood.

How to give

  • Online: through our secure Donorbox page
  • By mail: send a check payable to Miramonte Neighborhood Association to PO Box 40602, Tucson, AZ 85717
